Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was gunned down in the downtown area on a Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities reported the forty-year-old entertainer was approached by three individuals, with one began shooting at him before escaping on foot.

The motive of the shooting has not been established and no suspects have been apprehended have taken place, according to authorities.

Authorities revealed that Stock was attacked as he was leaving a location close to the Carlton Centre.

He had been present for hours at the building supervising the installation of safety equipment, which had been illegally inhabited by unidentified individuals, according to reports.

"Authorities believe the victim was approached by three unidentified men after he parked his car, and they began shooting at him before running from the location on foot," an official report said.

Surveillance tape showed a man with dreadlocked hair and dressed in what resembled a security uniform shooting on Stock before fleeing.

The DJ attempted to flee after he was wounded but fell down on the opposite side of the road.

Officials noted that Stock had an gun that was not fired and it was not a robbery during the attack.
