Jarrod Bowen Had England’s clearest opportunity of the first half, his strike excellently kept out by the opposing goalkeeper. With Quansah hanging back, it fell to him to stretch the play down the right side although his balls into the box were inconsistent. Replaced late in the match. 6/10

The captain The decisive figure scoring 77th and 78th finishes in an England shirt. The opener a trademark poacher’s finish and his next a classy finish with his head having drifted away away from the opposition. Now 32, he’s only getting better with the national team stand a real opportunity next summer when he's in the team. Eight

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to make an impact on the left flank. Was presented with a presentable chance after being played in by Bellingham but the keeper denied him. His replacement made much more of an impact in his place. 5/10
